Conchita Rivera

María Concepción Rivera Valenzuela was born in El Rosario, Sinaloa. She studied Interior Design at the Art Institute Bribiesca and Marketing at the University of Valle de Atemajac. On a national level, Conchita Rivera has shown her brushstrokes at the X Bienal del Noroeste in Culiacán, Sinaloa; at the Institute of Culture of Hermosillo, Sonora; the Institute of Culture of Mexicali, Baja California and the Museum of Art of Yucatan. She has broken boundaries by taking her paintings to the Italo-Latin American Institute in Rome, Italy, the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, USA and the Turner Caroll Gallery, New Mexico, USA.
